Great Picture in a "small" package

Fabulous picture, great remote, matching stand which holds components.

The Bottom Line:
Beautiful picture in a smaller package (for projection TV's). Easy to use.
Who would have thought a 42" screen would be called small, but this is the smallest projection TV that I know of on the market. The picture is fabulous (especially with a Progressive Scan DVD playing). We love the remote control which nicely plays our VCR and DVD player too. The one bummer is it would not control our Motorola cable box. The controls are intuitive. Even using the picture in picture feature is easy. The full set of controls on the front of the actual set is an added bonus. All of the audio and video inputs are on the side of the unit and not the back. This makes a lot of sense and is much easier to get to. However, once you plug in all those cables, they give you a flimsy cover which won't stay on because of the bulk of the cables, but this is minor. This is a table top model so it needs a stand. Get the MB-42311 stand. It fits perfectly and it has storage for the DVD/VCR/ etc behind smoked glass doors built in so you don't need a separate place to hold those components. This is another of a long series of products we have loved from Mitsubishi.
