Don't buy this: dead after 2 years

FANTASTIC PICTURE!!!!!
I bought this TV because I wanted a tabletop HDTV ready set with out spending 3 G's on a DLP. It was either this or the Toshiba. Not only was this one priced lower, but in a side by side comparison the Toshiba seemed much darker, and the viewing angle did not seem as good.

Great Picture in a "small" package
Who would have thought a 42" screen would be called small, but this is the smallest projection TV that I know of on the market. Nice but not worth the money
My fiance and I purchased this unit at Best Buy in 2002. Now, I'm going to keep my personal feelings on the evil that is Best Buy at bay and focus on the TV, but lets just say I think the problems we've had with this model may stem from where we got it.

Good TV, but requires maintenance
Overall, we love this TV. We bought it because of the picture quality. The size of it is perfect for our room. For the HD channels that we get, there is no question that it is worth the money. For regular channels, it still has a great picture. The true black really makes a difference.
