I Love My Mits
Pros
screen size, picture modes, hdtv ready, great picture
Cons
limited viewing angle
Recommended it?
Yes
originally i was going to get the Tosh 40H80 but got tired of waiting and since the Mits was coming sooner i opted for the Mits. i must say that after living with the 46" screen for a while i wouldn't want anything smaller.
i've had my WT-46807 about seven weeks and after nonstop tinkering, tweaking, Avia calibrating and disabling svm, i finally reached a point where i felt i got the picture as good as it's going to get without a pro calibration. so i had some friends over to watch a couple of dvd's via my Tosh 5109 progressive dvd player and a very nice surround sound set up. i guess my tinkering paid off because what i kept hearing over and over again was how awesome the picture was and how impressed everyone was. btw overscan and geometry etc. were right on the money out of the box. unless something breaks, i'm very happy with this set. i don't have hdtv yet but my main reason for the set was for dvd's anyway. cable just doesn't give this set a chance to shine, but it can produce an absolutey beautiful picture with the right input source i.e. a progressive scan player or HDTV.
