Polk Audio Monitor 30 Main / Stereo Speaker

I was at Circuit City looking for a pair of small bookshelf speakers and ended up with these. At first, I was leaning toward some pioneers that had bigger cone and box (6.5" vs the polk 5.25" I believe) but after about an hour of detailed side by side testing, the Polks just sounded better, no matter what. More full lows, detailed highs, just better at every frequency. Problem was, they cost twice as much, $100/speaker, which isnt bad but cost twice as much as the Pioneers. Worth it, couldnt be happier. These things rock on my Onkyo 504
