I'm no audiophile but wow
Pros
Small footprint, clean, excellent range - good for systems not cranking the watts
Cons
could be a little cheaper list price, say 50-100 bucks
Recommended it?
Yes
I have two digital pro audio 210T floor speakers that
I gave up to keep using my slim profile Onkyo receiver (no other fits in my cabinet). The receiver doesn't support
4 ohms which is what my 210T are. They took up some much coveted floorspace in my bedroom too which was their only downside.
So after looking to spend no more than 400 bucks, I evaluated JBL, Sony, Polk, Boston Acoustics and a couple others I ended up with the PA Monitor 50s and they sound superb. I don't have a sub woofer (yet) but I'm not losing anything for low range gicen the small room. These speakers are rich and ring clear. Small footprint too.
I paid 199 each at circuit city- probably 40-50 more than what I would have liked to pay but I'm very pleased with the quality of sound and construction. Good buy.
