Pros Lightweight, sleek, good battery life, good call quality.
Cons Camera occasionally glitches.
Recommended it? Yes

My husband and I switched cell phone providers over a month ago.  We’d spent a couple of years with T-Mobile (after a disastrous stretch with AT&T-Cingular), and were looking forward to hooking up with Verizon.  Don’t misunderstand—we had NO complaints about T-Mobile, but the area to which we are... Best phone available at the moment with Verizon

Pros design, call clarity is phenomenal, speakerphone
Cons texting iTAP
Recommended it? Yes

I tried two different phones (using my New Every Two deal) and both were awful LG phones. I finally went into the store (as I'd been using the internet before) and looked for a phone. I finally settled on the Moto W755, even though I've been a hardcore LG fan for the past four... Read full review »

A great choice for a mid-range Verizon phone

bycwa107 Aug 7, 2008

Pros Rubberized exterior, exterior touch controls, call/signal quality, PC connectivity...
Cons Flimsy port covers, smallish screen size, included accessories are sparse.
Recommended it? Yes

As part of Verion's "new every two" program, I decided to upgrade from my previous Motorola RAZR v3m, which was a fine phone in its own right. While the RAZR performed very well during its duty cycle, I was always disappointed in the way Verizon handicapped this phone's Bluetooth capabilities,... Read full review »

A Good Phone For Fat Fingers...BUT...

Pros Raised buttons, clear reception, good basic phone if you are using it for calls only.
Cons Battery life shorter than anticipated.
Recommended it? No

I'll just come right out and say it. I have fat fingers and the reason I chose this phone was because I want buttons that are slightly raised, a feature that has become increasingly difficult in the evolution of cell phones. This phone was my one of two choices I felt were good for that reason... Read full review »

More problems than it is worth

Pros Cheap
Cons Battery life, overheats, drop calls, poor signal
Recommended it? No

After struggling through 5 LG Chocolate phones (multiple problems, which Verizon finally gave up trying to fix and allowed me to switch to a different phone altogether), I chose the Motorola Moto W755 due to Motorola's good name, and past experience with the brand.

Apparently not all... Read full review »

Pros handsfree dialing with speakerphone.good hold feel and nice large flip. look, feel and...
Cons missing calleralert. Menu does not work.Caller id showsup-no announcement of name
Recommended it? Yes

Features great on Motorola is that you can use speakerphone and answer calls while closed. LG still needs to open and keep open to use even in voice recognition mode.

Only problem which is with Verizon, does not allow caller alert--Caller Id name is verbally spoken and than phone rings... Read full review »

First, let me say I have always been a Motorola User beginning with the good old StarTac and just now trading in the V265. I'm not much of a "bells and whistles" type of a person. I JUST WANT A PHONE WITH GOOD RECEPTION. Living in a fringe area I have always counted on the Motorola... Read full review »

Good and Bad

Pros Reliable battery life.
Cons Flip hinge. Camera.
Recommended it? No

The Moto W755 is a rather heavy phone with a decent battery. You will need to recharge a little more often with this phone but the charge time is fast and the battery itself does not degrade as rapidly as some. In other words, the last recharge is as good as the first.
The 1.3 MP... Read full review »

Motorola MOTO W755 has drawbacks

Pros Charger is small and light. Has a nice screen. 4 GB capacity.
Cons Battery life is horrible. Low resolution video capture. Music volume has limited...
Recommended it? No

The first Moto W755 I had would lockup and reboot itself randomly when trying to take a picture. It went from a full charge to half charge in 48 hours with very limited use. OK - so I thought it was a defective unit. Verizon exchanged it under their 30-day return policy. The second W755 doesn't... Read full review »
