Much better than my old Samsung Hue
Pros
sleek, stylish, good reception
Cons
fingerprints show, battery seems to go quick using camera/video
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Like I said, I don't use it as an mp3 player, it's a phone. And as a phone, it's a good choice.
I've had my Krzr for three months now and I am very pleased with it. I have not used the mp3 player capabilities, so unfortunately I cannot review those.
As a phone, it has performed quite well. I live in an area that can have spotty reception and the Krzr beats my old Hue hands down. I've only missed a couple of calls due to our location, which is at the bottom of a hill. The Hue was awful. So bad that instead of handing the Hue down to my son, I got him a new phone (and my Hue was barely a year old).
It takes decent pictures and the shiny case doubles as a mirror for self pictures.
Video quality is about what I expected, certainly not a reason to buy it, but it's good for a quick shot of something funny. And thank goodness it doesn't have a child's voice that says, "Look here!" whenever you start recording. I hated that about my Hue. It made it difficult to get inconspicuous video.
It's got a good weight in the hand and appears well-built. I'm not that hard on my phones as it usually resides in my purse or coat pocket, but I have tossed it in my back pocket and sat on it often without breaking it.
I'm not on my phone all the time, but I do notice if I use it a lot, it can burn through the battery fairly quickly. Using features like the camera and video functions are where I notice it most. Otherwise it will sit in my purse for 5 days easy before having to think about charging it.
Every cell phone has it's issues and this one is definitely a step, or 3, up from my old phone.
