After only having my Samsung U345 for three months it would not let me make phone calls, wouldn’t hold a charge anymore, and the faceplate was falling off. So I decided it was time for a new phone that was of better quality. I went to my local Alltel store and they offered to replace the Samsung U345 for me, but instead I found the Motorola V3 and am glad I did. The Motorola V3 is a durable well-built cell phone. It will take the abuse that some of the newer models such as the touch screen phones will not take. The V3 does come in a variety of colors like, red, blue, pink, lavender, and white. I chose the red phone, and am glad I did because with three young children at home it is easy to find my bright red phone when it has been misplaced. The looks of the Motorola V3 are a little outdated compared to some of the newer phones, and it is a little large width wise. However it does have larger buttons that are easier to push and see. The phone is very user-friendly it has a typical Motorola menu setup that is very easy to navigate through. The V3 tends to have continual exceptional service, even in rural areas. There are many different models in the V3 series, including the V3A, however some of the models in the V3 series are not capable of holding memory cards. I only paid $39.99 for the phone, with a contract. If you are looking for a basic, no frills phone that is easy to use, with great reception this is your model.
