The Bottom Line:
Those who like the RAZR style of phone will love it.
Folks who like the RAZR style of phone but find themselves disappointed with recent models will really enjoy this one. Not quite as wide as it's predecessors, the VE20 is also far better built. More sturdy and reliable. It is memory card compatible, which makes it possible to use your favorite MP3 as a ring tone. It also features a 2.0 megapixel camera and records and plays video as well. The keyboard if better built than other RAZR models, thus it is not as prone to wear out. At this relatively early stage, there are only two colors to choose from, but you can purchase a plastic cover for them in a variety of colors and styles at most cell phone accessory stores. Reception on the phone has proven itself to be well above average. Overall, the phone has about every possible feature you would want and is Bluetooth compatible as well. The only downside that I have found with this model is that battery life leaves something to be desired. My standard battery lasted about 3 months before going bad. I was able to remedy this problem by purchasing an extended life battery, which seems to last for several days before needing to be recharged. This is something that I would recommend to anyone who chooses the VE20. Needless to say, it features text messaging as well.
