The Bottom Line:
My last motorola lasted 6 years which is why I purchased this one!
I’ve had my VE20 for a year with no problems and I would certainly purchase
another which is to say that I recommend it if your phone needs ‘mirror’ mine.
This is the fourth Motorola cell phone I’ve had in almost 20 years so they
are giving me very good service.
Excellent call clarity for both myself and other party, even deep in cinder
block buildings.
The Battery Life seems quite adequate for me. On many occasions I have
talked for over 2 hours using my Plantronics 510 Bluetooth earpiece with
no problems. Granted there may have been only 1 bar of battery life remaining.
However I do recharge it every night and only talk about 15 minutes a day on average.
It has a slippery case with a mirror finish that will blind you in the sun so I
put a black Body Glove on it with belt clip.
My provider is US Cellular which has outstanding coverage in Southeast
North Carolina.
I rarely use the 2.0 MP camera but it does work very well.
I can’t comment on its texting ability, I don’t use it.
My phone has never ‘locked up’ but I do kept it up-to-date with the latest
downloads using *228.
Although it can provide web access, I don’t need it. 40 hours a week
on a computer is plenty.
