a great phone

what a great mobile phone motorola produced in the microtac 650.
this was my first mobile phone some five years ago,and lasted daily use for some three years.
since i have upgraded to a nokia i now realise that the motorola was not very good at keeping a signal,but it was analogue technology.
the microtac was a very hardwearing phone and gave the very useful option of being able to lock the keypad when carrying the phone around in your pocket by closing the flip.
i cannot recomend this attractive versatile and fun mobile phone highly enough.
if only motorolas new phones were half as good i would be a very happy person.
