Pros Easy to install, works as advertised
Cons Very high MSRP, can overdrive your cable modem.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had DirecTV for the last seven years, my house didn't even have cable run to it! Where I live the only high speed Internet option for me is from the cable company. I had the lines installed and decided it would be more economical to have cable TV than pay for Internet and DirecTV. Imagine my... Read full review »

Pros Easy to install. Improves cable picture quality immensely.
Cons Expensive unless bought over the Internet.
Recommended it? Yes

Back in September when we had the cable company come out to install our cable modem for high speed Internet, they added a 3 way splitter outside to accommodate the digital/analog line coming in to our family room, the digital/analog line coming in to our bedroom after about a 50 foot run of cable,... We Love Motorola's Signal Booster

Pros No more snow. Signal is great.
Cons None so far.
Recommended it? Yes

Update on 8/10/04:
We had to split the cable at the point of origin so that the cable modem was on a line without the signal booster. The signal booster was producing feedback and cutting off the signal from the cable modem. You may have to make this adjustment if you are using a signal... Read full review »

Pros Works as promised. High quality.
Cons None to speak of.

I bought a Sharp Aquos before Christmas and recently started exploring OTA HDTV. When I bought my house there was an antenna in the attic (a classic VHF/UHF antenna), so I hooked that up to the TV to see what channels I could get. Unfortunately, my local Fox affiliate would not tune and my local... Read full review »

Pros Excellent job of boosting a weak cable or vhf signal.
Cons Haven't found any yet.
Recommended it? Yes

This is a great device that does exactly what it claims to do - boost a weak cable (or antenna) signal to increase the quality and clarity of your tv picture. It works on both analog and broadband digital signals, as well as for cable modem transmission, and can attach to a tv, cable box, or cable... Read full review »

Pros Performs as adveritsed
Cons NONE
Recommended it? Yes

My Cable (Internet) service was consistently on for 30 min, and then off for 3 hours. When it did work, it was slow. All the cable company could tell me was that I was loosing signal strength at the splitter I put in. They were more than willing to send a tech out to my home for $90.00/HR.
