Don't expect too much
I got the Motorola T5720's with great anticipation to be able to connect to lost biking buddies on the trail but much to my disappointment had to realize that they might be better used in Disney Land than in a Mountain Bike area.

Simply great GMRS/FRS radios
My wife and I wanted a nice durable set of radios for around the house, camp, flea markets, etc. We went through some radios from Cobra and Audiovox before buying these Motorola T5720's. Havent tried long distances yet but close range quality is very good.
I have the T5710 which i gotta believe is the same as the 5720, but sold/packaged for Costco.
