I really recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for something small and stylish.
I received the Motorola RAZR V3m for Christmas and was very excited considering I had been using an outdated phone I purchased on eBay for about two years. There are many pros about this phone and only a few cons that I found that come with it.
PROS...
Size: I love the size of the V3m because unlike the original RAZR this phone is about half the size in width so it is very easy to carry around with you. Whether it is in the small pocket of your pants or a pocket in your purse or bag, it can go and store anywhere.
Keyboard: Rather than the older phones that have keys approximately 1/8th of an inch above the base of the keyboard, I really like the keyboard on this phone because of its flatness and smoothness. This makes it very easy to text faster and dial numbers faster as well.
Front Screen: There are a few reasons that I like the screen on the front of this phone. First is because it shows you the time, date and the day of the week. This is good because when you are in a hurry to see these things you don't have to flip the phone open in order to get them. The second thing that I like about the front of this phone is how you can use the keys to play, pause, and switch the music on your phone.
Quality of Camera and Video: I love the quality of the camera on this phone it you get good clear pictures almost all the time. You are able to take multi-shots, change the brightness, use a self-timer and also change the color effects. I also like the video on this camera. You are able to get good quality and record for about 13 seconds. Some of the features that come with the camera are also available such as brightness and color effects.
Looks: I really love the looks of this phone because it is stylish and "hip". You are able to pick whatever color you want either baby blue or red. I had red but wish I could have gone with the blue. The small and compact size also makes this a very stylish phone to carry around.
CONS...
Battery Life: At first this was not a problem for me but as I started to use it more and more daily it became a huge problem. You could start out your day with a full battery life and then get home around 4 and have it be dead. Because the battery life dies easy it makes it more expensive because you need to buy new ones more often than other phones.
Keys Freeze up: I also did not have a problem with this at first but as you use the phone more it becomes a big problem. You could be right in the middle of a text and then not be able to space or change words. This was a huge problem for me because I am a big texter. When I brought the phone in to be checked they told me that if you keep your inbox and outbox below 50 texts at a time that this wouldn't happen.
Small Memory Space: This V3m contains a small amount of memory space in a few places. Texting can only hold about 50 per in and out box or it will freeze up on you. Another area that doesn't have much memory is the recording whether it is video or audio they both only last a few seconds, and you can only hold a few recordings at a time.
For the most part this is a great phone. I have loved having it for the past couple of years, it has been good to me!
