Okay, I guess
Pros
Good sound quality, small and compact, decent battery life, only four buttons, good display
Cons
Flimsy battery cover, overall durability is poor, menu navigation can sometimes be frustrating

The Bottom Line:
I would not recommend it because mine stopped working. If you are just beginning and plan to get another mp3 player with a larger capacity later, it's perfect.
I have had this product for ten months now. I have used it for no more than listening to music on long trips, or while walking places. It now turns off sporadically without any reason or interference. Sometimes it will not turn on at all, or I have to hold the power button for an unusually long time for it to turn on. Also, I have had two battery covers break (creative was nice enough to send me another free). Another setback is that the menu for selecting music is annoying because yo can not have folders embedded in folders, so organization is minimal.
The upside to all this, however, is the great sound quality (can be dependent on headphones), and preset EQ's. The smallness of it is also incredible. The screen has a superb display despite its small size, and the relatively small amount of buttons makes it easy to learn how to use. The amount of buttons also makes it easy to my adjustments while the mp3 player is still in your pocket. The batteries usually last about 10-12 hours, which isn't bad, depending on how often you use it. It also has many features like voice recorder, FM radio, and ripping music to it w/out a computer. Finally, the 512 mb actually yield more like 145 songs, not 120.
Overall a decent mp3 player, but I could have done better and am thinking about replacing it.
