Warning: Necessity on long trips with kids!
This little portable has done alright for me. I bought it at a Best Buy on sale for $80 last year. The kids love it especially when on long car trips and it is a lot cheaper than other portables. But you do get what you pay for.

Solid Product that won't break your wallet
I purchased the Mustek portable DVD player after doing some comparisons to other products (as well as comparing sale prices between stores!). I purchased this at JCPenney for $127, but it came with a $30 mail-in rebate, which brought the price to $97 (after taxes).

Piece of trash

I had actually recieved this DVD player as a replacement item when I returned my old Mintek DVD player. So far, I have had absolutely no problems with this item. The price is right ... on sale at CompUSA I paid $99... however, when I got it home to use and started it up it rattled and sounded like loose ball bearings in a plastic cup...
