Excellent Monitor
Pros
Picture, Installation, Quality of Build, Desk space saved, Value and Good luck with NEC products
Cons
Ugly (Styling) and Little hard to get plugs inside
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you want a flat screen and don't care about funky styling and don't need a big monitor, buy this.
This is an excellent monitor. This monitor features,
32 Bit Color Support
15" Screen (Not viewable measurement)
Windows and Macintosh support (Mac computers require an adapter. Can be ordered from NEC.)
Wall Mountable Screen
1024x768 Resolution
This monitor has an excellent screen and looks great. This monitor has 32 bit color that is excellent (I don't know any better being on anything). It was easy to install minus the cords were a little tricky to get plugged, being that you have to remove one of the covers. The drivers and such went in with no trouble. The monitor has held up well and before I got this monitor I had a Multisync CRT monitor which lasted from September 1995 till it was replaced in favor of more desk space. I am pretty sure that on this site I saw reference to a $299.99 price tag on this monitor. In terms of this monitor being ugly, it is a boring off white and doesn't look cool like the Hewlett Packard F50 (Compared to this monitor later). This was not a deciding factor in my case though because the monitor I had before (CRT) had the same styling and my room was adjusted to it. The fact that this monitor is wall mountable is cool though.
Compared to F50:
Price (Cheaper): NEC
Styling: F50
Picture: =
Plugs: F50 (Digital and Standard Input Compared to NEC Which Has Standard Input Only)
Reliability: NEC
