The Bottom Line:
This is an excellent budget product. If you can afford to buy something by Creative Labs, then do so. But this is a very functional bit of hardware.
I thought I would add a review for this product after reading a different review which I considered was both inaccurate and unfair to the player. I paid 60GBP (~83USD), which made it by far the cheapest MP3 cd player I could find. It doesn't have any fancy functions like ID3, or I.R./in-line remotes, but if all you want is a good player cheaply, it is great. The ESP mode when listening to MP3s is flawless, to the point where you can shake the thing violently, and it plays through it fine. It can be a bit twitchy when initially reading the CD, and so it is worth using good quality CDRs.
