Nextel I-60

Pros Easy to use, durable
Cons Bulky, no outside display, ugly green backlight, no features, bad ringers, cannot download
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Good phone but is the total bottom line, and has no options. Spend the extra money and get a better nextel.
When going to buy this phone, I was a first time cell phone buyer, and naive about how much I would be using the phone. Like most beginners, I said that I would only use the phone for emergencies. Anyway needless to say, the cell is the only phone I use now and it is a big part of my life.
The difference for me at the time was the price of the entry level I60 (100) and the I90 (in the area of 200) was a big deal. I choose the I-60 and have regretted it for awhile now. Don't get me wrong the I-60 is a good phone, but it only deals with the absoulute basics. If you just want a phone that works, than this is the phone for you.
What it does not have that I find now that I wish I had in a phone is definitely a calender (so you can put events in), and an outside display. These two things come in the I90 and wouldnt realize how important they are until you have used this phone for about a year. The other nice benefits of the I90 are it is a better looking phone, better ring tones, ability to download better ringtones, outside display, calender, voice activated dialing, the ability to make phone calls without opening the face, and probably many others that I havent listed....
Anyway it is probably tough to the get I90 now, but the 530 and 730 are the new choices. If you think a cell is somthing you will be using frequently, then for the extra $150 get the better phone. You will be a lot happier for a long time.
