They thought of everything, and then some. This camera encompasses everything a photographer could possibly want out of a camera. The first drawback, price, is obvious. But another drawback which ultimatly made me decide against this camera is the weight. It is unusully heavy. It is not the kind of thing you want to be lugging around through thick and thin, and certainly not up mountains or any circumstance where you have to carry it for extended periods of time. The size is also another factor. It is only so much bigger because of the "ergonomic" design (If you happen to shoot vertically a lot and want a really good camera with a comfy spot for your hands, this is the camera for you...). I personally didn't find it worth it to have that extra luxury for shooting vertically worth the extra space.
But what still has my mouth watering is the secret viewfinder on top where the flash typically goes. They have many tricky attachments designed to go here, but you can also just use it raw (the clarity's just not as clear). This brilliant feature allows you to "shoot from the hip", and your subjects will never know. It's the ultimate for being discreet, if only they could just get the size down.
Other than that, everything else operates like a dream. The shutter is incredible and faster than a blink. The focus is far superior to what my own eyes can do. There are far more features, in fact, than one ever needs. It's all been thought of. This camera is at the highest highest tier achievable. Nothing else comes close.
