The Bottom Line:
I would definitely recommend this camera because it is great for people who aren't professionals but want professional-looking photos.
I purchased this camera a little over a year ago to take pictures while I was in London. I was looking for an APS camera because I didn't want to mess with loading the film and worrying about whether I return home only to find I loaded the film wrong and had no photos. I also wanted a camera that would take good pictures. The Newpic Zoom 600 was an excellent choice. It has the following features:
-Red-Eye reduction
-8-second delay setting (if you want to be in the picture)
-Auto Flash/Flash off/Flash on
-Night Mode (this makes a huge difference)
-Landscape Mode
-3 picture sizes to choose from
-Date Imprint
I took some amazing pictures in London, and not because of my photography skills, because I have none. The panoramic picture size was very handy for landmarks like Big Ben, which are very tall. With a non-APS camera, Big Ben would have turned out to be very small, but my photo shows it looks as if you're right there next to it. Another excellent panoramic photo was of Stonehenge. All my pictures were crystal clear, even the ones taken at night. I even took a picture of a lighted billboard (like Times Square) in the early evening and when it was developed, it was so amazing that I couldn't believe I was the one who actually took that picture.
Another great feature of APS in general is the ability to have your pictures put on CD or floppy disk, or have them emailed to you.
This is an excellent camera for people who aren't professionals but want professional-looking photos. The camera is easy to use and includes several picture modes which allow the user to take the best pictures possible. I would definitely recommend this camera.
