Nikon N90s Semi-Pro
Pros
Tough,Good quality pictures
Cons
Little noisy
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This is a good step up Camera, still Semi-Pro Camera but worth the effort and money!
The Nikon 90s is a very good camera for someone who wants to step up to a semi-pro camera. It can be confused by very bright or dark backlighted scenes but not as bad as an N70.It is a little noisy and with the optional MF-26 multifunction control back it can do many things such as double exposures, bracketing, date/time stamps, etc.
Add the MB-10 and you get a better grip, more power and a vertical grip. However, even with the vertical grip I personally still use the normal, top of the camera shutter. (Make sure the vertical grip is turned off in the safety position when not being used or else you will inadvertently take pictures when your hand touches it.)
It is a tough camera that can take some knocks without having to take a trip to the camera shop. The focus tracking works good, not as good as that on the F5, but then again, it is a lot less expensive than the F5.
