The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend this phone. It is great.
I have had a cell phone since I was 16. From 16 until about 25 years of age, I had a cell phone through a well known company, but I never used all my minutes every month, and rollover was not around yet. So I basically paid about $35 a month and used not even half of my minutes. About three years ago, my friend was telling my about the tracphone service, and I thought that sounded like the way to go. So I bought a Nokia 2100 cell phone from Wal-mart for about $30. And I have never been happier with it.
The phone is small enough for me to stick into my pocket, but large enough for me to find quickly in my purse. I can set my own wallpaper, and can decide on what color I want the scene to be. Options for scene colors are red, orange, blue, turquiose, green, and a few others. Right now I have mine set on orange with the dots wallpaper and it looks pretty cool.
I can let each person that I have programed into my cell phone to have their own ring tone if I please. Many ringtones are included with the phone, such as the chillout ring tone, Espionage, the Nokia tune, Montuno and many others.
My phone also has a calendar, an alarm clock, a stop watch, calculator, and a countdown timer. It game with the following games: bowling, air glide and sky diver.
The phone has voicemail as well and you can use your phone to order prepaid minutes if you wish.
All in all I think this is the way to go for a cell phone. While I do wish it had the flip lid, it is fine for me right now. I have definetely gotten my money out of it. It would be a perfect cell phone for anyone just starting out to see if you like cell phones as it is very easy to use.
