I bought my husband this phone for Christmas, but he couldn't wait...
It's so easy to use, easy to program and light weight. It weighs 6.2 oz with the standard battery. The memory will hold up to 100 names and numbers. It has caller ID, to know who is calling before you answer the phone. It has enhanced battery life, up to 3.2 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. It has large, spaced buttons on the keypad, so even large fingers can easily maneuver dialing with one hand.
It also has a message taking system, acts like a pager, takes voice mail messages, answering your phone with your own personal greeting 24 hours a day, even if your phone is off. Stores up to 30 messages. Stores the last 10 numbers you have been called from for quick call back. It comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty. It has 3 games of skill, logic and memory.
You can program it to ring "Jingle Bells" for Christmas and a variety of other songs, or a simple ring.
Dialing is a cinch. You have a one button on/off switch. There is one button for canceling what you have just done. An up and down to adjust your volume and scroll your phone book. And the main button is multi-functional, it's your select button, send, end, etc. So easy, even for those of us who aren't in to reading long books to figure out how these new fandangle things to work.
Best of all is the clarity, boy have phones improved since I've got my first phone!! The antenna is about 1" long and solid, no broken antennas this time!!
Finally, it only cost me $10. Circuit City has a $50 rebate and a $40 rebate (and you get both), plus a $30 rebate from Nokia = $120 in rebates. Final cost with tax $20!!!!!
