Nokia 6085 ~ Pretty in Pink

Cons
Volume could be better as well as outside window features.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a reliable phone with great reception and battery life. Also very good looking phone.
I first decided on upgrading my cell phone after I was on the Metro North train and the man next to me saw my old dinosaur and it because the talk of the train car. It was still functional but old and starting to have problems. It was a bit embarrassing that people kept asking to look at it!
I am probably one in about 2 million cell phone users who simply want a phone. I am not interested in text messaging, camera, email, music or any of the fancy extras that are offered these days. Even though the Nokia 6085 offers all these other perks it was the most simplistic style offered for free upgrade by my plan. I decided on the snazzy pink color which was offered along with basic black.
Signal. The signal is amazingly strong and comes through in the train tunnel which a lot of phones do not.
Battery. The battery life is definitely one of the things most important to me and this Nokia charge can last for approximately 2 days. It also takes only minutes to re-charge the battery.
Appearance. The face of the phone is simple and the numbers are easy to read and a decent size. The different menus are easy to navigate.
Outside Idle Window. This is one of the two features that could be improved. After a few minutes the text gets very small and it is hard to see the time and other icons displayed.
Volume: This is the only other complaint I have with this phone. Even on the highest ring level it is still hard to hear the phone ringing.
All in all, I am very happy with my new phone.
