The Bottom Line:
If you want a phone that looks nice and is easy to carry around then this is for you. It will do everything you need while looking pretty.
The Nokia 6500 Classic is a very lightweight, slim, good looking phone. The 2mp camera provides very clear images, and the 1gb inbuilt memory is more than enough to store sufficient albums and photos. The software used to transfer data between the phone and computer is very easy to use.
The main draw back of the phone is it's fragility. Twice I have purchased this phone, and twice the LCD screen has cracked while being in my pocket. This is definitly not a phone for heavy handed people, but for people willing to keep it in a protector it is highly reccomended.
Another minor fault of the phone is the headphone jack. It only supports nokia headphones, standard ipod or mp3 player headphones will not work with the phone which can be inconvinient.
The casing of the phone can also be difficult to remove, but once figured out can be a source of amusement when challenging others to attempt it!
Overall, this is an excellent phone, it does everything it's suppossed to and much more, it is very easy to use and very portable. However, if you're likely to be bumping around and colliding into walls (which I tend to) then it is likely to break, and you might be better off going with a more robust phone.
