The Bottom Line:
iphone in nokia handset a transition
AntennaThe antenna is in the bottom of the phone so your jaw gets fried instead of your brain but some people don't like phones with the antenna in the bottom because of the reception issues. I live in uk most days, reception isn't a problem. I am exactly 3 miles away from from a BTS and a Node B (for 3G) so I don't have any trouble. Besides, if I go somewhere there is no coverage I just whip out the Thuraya sat-phone.
Wifi seems slightly better than that of the E51 but maybe it's just my imagination. I don't like that they have removed infrared because I have this little line-by-line scanner.
OS Symbian OS is not hard to use.
APPSThe E63 also comes with QuickOffice, allowing you to view Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint documents straight from your phone. I personally love this as I tend to get a lot of attachments on my email and it makes it so easy to view these without reaching out for my laptop. A built in Dictionary pre installed with the English Language dictionary is also a very important resource to have on the go - pretty handy in meetings with clients from industries who use terminology I am not familiar with (Scientists!!) :-)
I also love the Social networking applications that come with E63. Facebook, YouTube and MySpace are all included on with recent updates making it extra convenient to stay in touch with friends and family.
