Pros It's capable of some great features; can be used as a stand-alone game unit.
Cons Terrible sound, poor design, horribly hard to change games. No help in finding...

This was one of those things that I really wanted to surprise my son for Christmas with. I'm glad I secretly found out how he felt about it before spending over $300.

Why I thought it was perfect

It's sold by Nokia (a brand I've had great luck with in the past) and it's... Read full review »

Does N-Gage Have The Power To Conquer The Hand Held, Video Game & Cellular Market?

Pros Tons of features, excellent graphics, downloadable games, MP3 player and more.
Cons Expensive, easy to lose game cartridges, monthly fee for service.
Recommended it? Yes

There were two new gadgets that I wanted for the holidays – one being the N-Gage and the other the new Nokia 3300 Music Phone. I was really torn between both of them and after shopping around for the best price, service plan and features – I simply couldn't decide so I ordered them... Read full review »

N-Gage, Don't look too good

Pros Good FM Radio, Ring tones and wallpapers. Comfortable at times
Cons Small screen, small memory, no shoulder buttons, bad design for changing games, crappy...

Brace yourself people, the review may be a rocky ride for N-Gage fans. When reading this expect to tumble down a mountain of criticism, but also catch air off kicker ramps of positivity (Sorry, been playing Tony Hawk Under Ground 2 a bit just then) In other, more simple words, the N-Gage, as a... Pros Numerous phone features, capable gaming device, Bluetooth-enabled, cheap price (as of...
Cons Awkward earpiece, strange key layout, minor app glitch, short battery life when gaming
Recommended it? Yes

I just purchased the Nokia N-Gage a few days ago and so far it's been a great experience overall. Those wondering if the $199 pricetag is worth it shouldn't worry, especially since now Gamestop and EBGames have a promo that includes 3 games with the after-instant rebate price.

I bought... Read full review »

Let's do the Taco talk! It's not a Gameboy, it's not quite a phone...

Pros Console layout for playing games, Midi / Wav Ring tones.
Cons Taco Phone design, Battery Removal to swap memory / games?, no Midp-2
Recommended it? No

The Nokia N-Gage is trying to be both a phone and a gaming device. How well does it hold up as either? Well, not very good. For 200 bucks, you can get yourself an N-GAGE, (100$ with an provider). Well, would I pay 200$ for a Gameboy? Depends, how good are the games? Well for the N-Gage, not very... Read full review »

N-Gage. Is it "N-Gaging" enough to Justify the Cost?

Pros All in one device is perfect for travelers weighed down with multiple devices.
Cons Odd Screen orientation can be troublesome for gaming.
Recommended it? Yes

You notice two things pretty quickly when you first unbox Nokia's new N-Gage. First, it's a lot smaller than you think it will be (and this after having already spent time with it at E3 and several retailers). Second, this thing is not so much one gadget as the ultimate Swiss Army Knife of gadgets... Read full review »

Pros It DOES handle both gaming and phone needs.
Cons It handles both poorly.
Recommended it? No

Look up on the shelf! It's a phone! It's a videogame handheld! No wait; it's a REALLY bad idea! The Nokia N-Gage sounds interesting at first, and since most new phones have screens that allow some kind of game play, why not develop a hybrid of the two popular functions? The answer is simple;... Pros Great phone and great for listening to music, and can't argue with the gaming...
Cons The design. That's it.

Everyone said the Nokia N-gage 1 would be discontinued in 2 years tops. They were wrong, HAHAHA! ....erm....it was 1 actually. :(

Basically, it's 2006 now and the old N-gage is officially not sold anymore. The QD is the proud replacement that'll keep us all satisfied until something else... Read full review »

Pros Feature rich Bluetooth Music paradise (radio&mp3) Great screen
Cons No IR port No camera Annoying way of changing games

I bought this phone about 2 1/2 months ago, long after all the backlash. Let's get to the issues.

Game play: This phone isn't going to be a "Game Boy" replacement as the amount of titles available isn't vast. Games are still coming out for it, however. This brings on the weird way of... Read full review »

Pros At 199 Euro you get a lot of things.
Cons Short battery life if used intensively.

MAIN FEATURES - COMES WITH:
It is a Series 60 Phone. That is a Symbian system which means LOTS OF SOFTWARE and very few (if any) bugs. Actually every single piece of software written for any 60's phone will run also on the N-Gage (except those softs that require a camera).

A series... Read full review »
