Nokia 8801 Cell Phone

I bought the Nokia 8801 because I love the look of it.  I love the sleek design, I love the way it slides, I love the size (it fits in my smallest clutch purse). I'm a BIG fan of Nokia phones & their ease of use. I had to replace my last Nokia phone not because it broke but because the technology became obsolete. The phone itself was still working and I was just waiting for it to burn out but it didn't.  In my eyes, Nokia phones are warhorses that don't die. It has all the basic functionality (you can read the specs at your leisure) that a phone should have.
The keys are small for some people so texting can be an issue. I don't have this problem and my manicurist has yet to complain of my requesting a nail repair due to my cell phone. The battery life seems to be a problem for some people but again not for me since I'm not downloading baby-shaking apps or using my phone as a GPS device (I installed the GPS in my car and not my phone). My only issue with the phone is that it randomly shuts itself off every so often.  But I knew this prior to buying, having done my research and perused all the reviews. Manufacturing for this phone has also been discontinued.
