I bought a used unit from e-bay and immediately put it to work. It's been over three years now and still not one problem to note. The super fast chart re-draws makes navigating close areas so much easier. The waterproof (resistant) is a must have - washing off the console for the past three years with no problems. No screen-fog or any intrusion problems what-so-ever. The Navionics chips are amazing. The detailed area coverage and local information provided are a MUST HAVE!! I also appreciate the ability to link up the GPS with the VHF.
Overall - VERY HAPPY and would without a doubt recommend the Northstar 951 unit to anyone interested.
