One For All Kameleon URC-9964 Remote Control

Shades of Star Trek Next Generation!! This incredible device takes time to learn, but it can adapt to any combination of electronic usage. Even if you can't find your remote code it can learn all the signals you want from your old remote, any remote! You just need to figure out which buttons you want to use. Its many sub menus for each of the eight devices can be confusing, but if you're willing to spend the time you will be very happy once you program it "your way". I currently use it for seven devices, some new like my plasma TV and others as much as ten years old. There is no need to contact the company for support, because everything is explicitly explained and inferred in the directions. Until they make it smaller and or flatter, this remote will stay current for the next decade. Some might complain about battery usage, but its all about how you program and use it. I use two or three devices every day for four hours or more and I have to change the batteries monthly, but that's what rechargeable batteries are for. You know when to change the batteries because the remote won't stay lit long. If you change the batteries immediately there is not need to reprogram. I have had my KAMELEON for two years and have never had to reprogram. The device can take punishment!! Its fallen off my desk and sofas onto my hard wood fall countless times and still works!!
