Great little machine
Ok you can now get double the capacity then when I bought this a year ago but the quality is exceptional and yea the sound from the in built speaker is poor. After transfer to the pc it is great and if one has a program to adjust the noise etc.

The VN-480PC Digital Voice Recorder
This recorder is a good recorder if you are a student who wishes to record long lectures. You can download the files to your computer via USB if you buy the VN-480PC version, but watch out that you don't accidently get the VN-480 version which doesn't allow this.
