Olympus Stylus Epic....you can get it wet!!!

It produces good pictures and is weatherproof.
The Olympus Stylus Epic is one of the best point-and-shoot designs of all time.However, it just got a lot better. Epic added a faster lens, faster shutter, trick metering, and more.
The Simple-operating Stylus has controls for self-timer, flash options and spotmeter/spot AF setting. One of the best features is that you can get it wet because it's weatherproof. Go ahead take it out in the snow and the rain. I wish I had this when I went to SeaWorld. Everytime Shamu splashed the audience I had to hide my other camera so it wouldn't get wet.
The lens is excellent as well. The metering can detect fluorescent light and add fill flash. The shutter goes from 2 to 1/1000 sec-This is an SLR range.
This camera is allot of fun to use and easy to operate.It is nearly foolproof. The one obscure control is the spotmeter/spot AF. You have to press two buttons.
The pictures I took had good color contrast.The quality was good. Take the Epic along to shoot for all occasions, and you never have to worry about getting it wet.
