Pros all-weather, sharp pictures, light weight
Cons fragile, no zoom
Recommended it? Yes

I borrowed this tiny camera for a weekend from my brother so that I wouldn't carry a big SLR around. I didn't really care about a superb quality, just needed to shoot something easy. It was quite a surprise when I developed the pictures, a tiny Stylus produced fine, sharp prints with great colors... Read full review »

It's been said that a serious photographer must never be without a camera; just in case that once-in-a-lifetime shot should come along. For those moments, and all the moments of your life, the Olympus Stylus Epic will probably become your little saviour.

The Olympus Stylus Epic is one of the best point-and-shoot designs of all time. However, it just got a lot better. Epic added a faster lens, faster shutter, trick metering, and more.

The Simple-operating Stylus has controls for self-timer, flash options and spotmeter/spot AF setting. One... Read full review »

I needed a new point-and-shoot to replace my trusty old Olympus of five years (I'm embarrassed to say that I'd dropped it one too many times...it still works, but these are memories I'm taking, and I don't want to be caught off guard one day...), so I shopped around and did my research for another... From time to time manufacturers get the "magic formula" of a given type item just right, resulting in a product that's priced right, has all the features you want and none of the gimmicks to get in the way, is a joy to use, and produces excellent quality results.

I feel that Olympus Stylus... Read full review »

Stylin' with the Stylus...

I was first introduced to Olympus as a camera company a bunch of years ago. My sister's venerable Kodak DISC camera had had it, and she was looking for something compact, automatic, and trouble free. A friend of mine suggested the Olympus Stylus, and I agreed,... Read full review »

Cons Uses an expensive battery.

Our old Nikon point-and-click suddenly died on us after 5 years of regular use, so we went shopping for a new camera at London Drugs.

We wanted a small camera, for the economical 35mm standard format, without fancy zoom lenses to go wrong, without attached knobs and brackets to catch on... Read full review »

Pros easy to use, light, inexpensive

Before I bought my huge mamba-jamba Olympus, I had this little compact Stylus Epic. It was lightweight, inexpensive, easy to use, and, as an added bonus, took nice pictures. No zoom meant that I had to use my legs to get in closer for the close-up shots, which could be a hassle at times, but it... Read full review »
