Great Lecture recorder
I have had the Olympus 3100PC for 6 months. I got this as a gift from a friend. I must tell you that for lectures, this baby is great. It records in Mono (not that I have a need for any more than that). The recording setting I use is the high fidelity and very little compression. I can get 11 hours... Read full review »
Disappointed almost immediately.
I just purchased this device today, and I'm disappointed that the USB is disabled so that it will not work unless you install and use their special software on a Windows PC. It's designed to not take advantage of the simplicity of USB.
