I bought this receiver after tons of research. I compared many brands such as sony and jvc just to name a few. The reason I ended up at this receiver is because it's such a great value.
This product includes 5.1 channel inputs which sound amazing when hooked up with a dvd with 5.1 channel outputs. It also has room to hook up everything under the sun from your computer to your mini disk player. It also has a ac-3 processor built in.
The experience I have had with this player has been nothing but good. It decodes high fidelity vhs into surround sound. I found an old speaker in my garage and hooked it up to the receiver on the b channel for my bathroom it instantly switched to mono without any programming.
I love the fact its a very easy to use receiver. So far I have has no problems with it and I have had it for six months. The people who should buy this product is anyone with an average budget with a taste for good sound.
