4 months after warranty, TV is dead!!!! Main engine is Gone

Bought rd65h in November 2004, 16 months later, my $4,000 is gone like a smoke!!! I was watching TV and suddenly heard rattling sound inside the TV. Checked inside, and found broken colored glasses inside the lamp module/box. Called Optoma customer support and offered no help except giving me quotes to repair the TV, which was $400 for service at home plus $800 parts (main engine replacement) and who knows what other problems it may have since it won't even power up. So, buyers beware!!!! I learned my expensive lesson...I won't ever buy Optoma products anymore!!!!
