Optoma RD65 65 in. HDTV
Pros
None, unfortunately.
Cons
Poor picture quality, contrary to many reports. Numerous break-downs and subsequent repairs. A wasted $3,200!

I enthusiastically purchased a new Optoma RD65 65 in. HDTV just over a year ago after reading several positive reviews. This was probably the worst purchasing choice I've ever made! I am totally disappointed with this product, and that's an understatement!
Even after numerous professional adjustments, the picture quality has always been sub-par. More frustrating, it has been subject to numerous break-downs and non-functions. Last week I had to replace the lamp at a cost of $199, and after only 5 days, it is now un-explainably non-functional once again.
And this TV has probably been used considerably less than the average household TV - approximately two or three evenings per week, plus maybe a movie and a game or two or three on weekends. It's simply a very poor quality product in my opinion, and I quite frankly consider this TV as an absolute piece of junk that I wish I had never bought. I'm now looking at new TVs again.
