Exactly what I had hoped for
Pros
Brainless installation, conservative power ratings, relatively small footprint.
Cons
No speaker level inputs, speaker outputs only accept 14 gauge or smaller wires.

If you need a small amp with lots of flexibility and easy installation, you could do a lot worse.
I have this amp running 3-channel with a Boston Acoustics Rally Component System and a 10" Alpine S10 sub in a small sealed box. It handles the setup well as the components really shine with the extra power going through them. The tweeters are 1" full-domes and they sparkle. The sub and poor front speaker placement seem to be the limiting factors in my system. The amp feels solid and heavy. The heat sink is beautifully machined and blue-anodized. It fits my needs perfectly as I wanted to juice up the output with something that was easily concealable. The Cobalt fits nicely underneath the passenger seat where I don't have to look at the cheesy panel graphic.
I also considered similar products from Pioneer and Alpine. I wound up choosing the Orion on a recommendation from a buddy that knows a lot about amps.
