Apple's last dual boot computer

The Bottom Line:
Great computer to have if you need to work on OS9 as well as being able to move forward with the new advances in OSX.
The Apple G4, 1.25Ghz dual boot computer was the last computer made by Apple that would work on both OS 9 and it's newer operating system OS X. Their was a period of time where everyone was making a transition from one operating system to the next. Software from many designers still weren't available in the latter operating system. In order to help those who required the use of the older OS, this computer continued the tradition of booting in OS 9 and OS X. You could still use your older programs while purchasing and upgrading your newer operating system.
I bought this computer to use in my recording studio. I record digital audio to it using an external sound card. I needed a computer that would operate on both operating systems so I could use my old software as well as being able to upgrade to newer programs in the future. This was a big issue for the recording industry. Many of the audio recording manufacturers still hadn't improved their products to function properly on OS X. Therefore this was the computer of choice. Very soon after the release of these computers two computers were released with faster processors. However, they only booted in OS X. Apple decided that it was time for all their newer computers to function only on OS X.
Specifics:
This computer comes with dual processor which gives you double the speed that you would normally get through a single processor computer. However, the functionality of both processors was enhanced by using OS X, which was designed for this specifically. OS X does multi threading which means that it can work with various programs and do multiple tasks at a given time without slowing down your computer.
With 120Gigs of memory in the hard drive this computer won't fill up very quickly. (Unless your doing high resolution video work.)
This computer comes with a CD-R/DVD, internal network card, and modem. This computer flies when your online.
