The Bottom Line:
Cheap, gadget for fun only.
I have had the RX2000 for about a week now. The unit has sounded an alert approx 10 times. 4 times there have been officers in the area. 6 false alerts or officers not seen?
Not sure yet. The compass is a worthless irritant.
I paid only $29.99 so what do I expect? Cheap fun and a good evaluation as to whether I want to spend more for a better performing radar detector.That remains to be seen, but if a cheap detecter like this can detect radar how well will the others perform? We'll see.
I haven't tested it with garage door openers yet, but will soon
