Pni RX5000 Radar Detector

Probably the worst radar detector ever tested. At first this radar detector seems to do a good job at rejecting false alarms, but after using this unit for over two months, not only does it reject false alarms it also rejects detecting of police radar especially Ka. At least 10 times on straight aways this unit failed to detect constant on stationary Ka radar until I got within 300 feet of the patrol car and detection of Ka moving radar is as bad if not worse. X and K band detection isn't much better. Looks good on your dash but other then a paper weight this unit performance is worse then poor. Power cord is also cheap and gets stiff in cold weather, windshield mount works well.
