Mustek equals must be junk. Do not buy this player. It is poorly designed.

The Bottom Line:
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE the bundled e-life pal will take a windows os file you will need to reload windows.
The only benifits, I have found in using the mustek pvr-h140, 1 - it gets very hot when playing or recording video or audio,, I'm sure when winter returns. I will put the player at the foot of my bed to keep my feet warm. 2 - makes a great door stopper. 3 -Excellant paper wieght, can hold a hundred sheets of toilet paper down in near hurrican winds.
Ohh it's a video player, hmm all my hundred or so videos are mpeg2,, oh the supplied mustek converter (actually a microsoft convertor, you have to dl it from ms)has no support for mpeg2. Ok we'll convert mpeg2 to mpeg1 then conveert to ASF (Mustek Highly recomends using only thier convertor for vide files played on PVR-h140)
Now that I a few video files are on MUSTBE JUNK PVR-H140
Good Luck locating them quicly. Arranging by artist, video name (album) title. There is no understandable file name.
Mustbe junk reads the transfered artist folder as
> john smit

found a workaround name folder > john smith
will show up on player as
john
smith
there are 9 spaces in first line of folder
and 9 in the 2nd (there is no third line)
count spaces with space bar to advance to second line.

This kinda solves the folder nameing drawback but only for artists with short names. Enya works absolutly perfectly, is that impressive technology or what. WOW 4 letters and the player handled it wth ease.
Ok now that you have renamned all your artist, album and title files. For audio or video, put them on the playe.
They'll be in alphabetical order right no no no wrong wrong wrong. The player lists files from older to newer, Oh yea isn't that great. After renaming all your files to work in the mustbe junk folders now you have to transfer each artist alphabeticly one at a time. If your wondering what you have to do after all your files are added and you wish to additional files, retaing albetical order, if your adding john smith you only have to go back to j and add all your files one artist at a time from j.( yes you must delete all artist beyond j)
If you do not have a life or do not want a life purchase this player. This is Musteks Top Of The Line Player, What a total waste of material and manpower. I will never purchase any mustek product again.
