Pacific Digital Mach 48 (U-30127) CD-RW Burner

Pros None
Cons Everything about this Drive sucks!
Recommended it? No
Worst CDRW I ever owned! Buyers beware of this product, it's cheap, but you get what you pay for! I bought this Drive at Fry's because of the 35 dollar mail-in rebate offer. After the rebate the drive was only 34 bucks, but I soon found out why it was so cheap.

80% of all burned Data CD's with this drive are junk and have bad sectors so only part of the data can be read back from the CD. Forget recordig music with this drive, Even at 1X recording speed there are still very noticable tic's, clicks and crackles on each burned music CD. I've had this drive for a while and have tried all sorts of CD Burning software suites ranging from the popular Nero 6 to Easy CD Creator 6 and everything in between...it's not the software that's causing the problem. I've even updated the firmware on the CDRW drive but the problem still remains, I was ripped off :(
