I can't give all the Tech Details as the prior Reviewer but I purchased this unit on Impulse at Staples and it was a Steal!
I was browsing around the store and happened upon this Deal on the tables right in front of the Check-Out Counters.
The Pacific Digital Mach48 CD-RW Internal IDE drive would replace my old Smart & Friendly 4x4x24 Writer.
The regularly listed price was $79.95 but Staples had a $10 Instant Rebate and a $40 Mail-in Rebate for this unit making the Final Cost $29.95!
Also found out after I bought it that PC World magazine rated this unit #4 out of their Top Ten CD Burners.
Can't beat that!
