Pacific Image PrimeFilm 1800AFL Film Scanner (35 mm)

I was hoping to convert many slides to digital images to share old memories with family and friends. I installed the software without problems: In fact, I installed it about 20 time during the month and one-half I tried to use it. I would have to re-install because it would crash and have to be re-booted, and eventually refused to interface with the Adobe Photoshop Elements software that came with the product. To make a long story short, I fooled around with it for about a month and one-half, during which time I was able to scan about one and one-half trays of slides. Some of the slides scanned satisfactorily, but many were dark and poor color quality, even though the slides were clear and bright. At that time it stopped interfacing with Adobe. I took the machine back where I got it and was refunded the purchase price. It was overal an entirely unsatisfactory experience.
