The Bottom Line:
First time smart phone users. Lots of features and cheap!
well, this is my first smart phone. I have had this for about 2 weeks now. My previous phone was the Samsung A920 which was a flip mp3 phone. I love that phone but it was getting old and it was time to upgrade. So, moving from a flip phone to a smart phone was a little challenging at first, but now i am getting the hang of things. I have the black model, it is black. A big plus is the qwerty keyboard. My previous flip phone required me to press the keys 2-3 times in order to do a text message. Now that I have the keyboard, its much more convient to text. The camera is nice, i wished they would have put more than just a 1.3 megapixel camera. The single speaker for sounds is a flaw in my opinion. When i listen to music, the sound is not very loud at all, and if you tweak the EQ the sound just comes out like garbage. I am comparing the mp3 to my previous phone in which the samsung A920 had 2 speakers. Internet is pretty fast with Blazer, I added Opera which makes things 10x better. Support from the palm website has been fantastic. I would get online chat help immediately and the people helping you are very knowledgeable! The thing i hate about this phone which is a security feature is that i have to press the power button to get the screen to come on when it is in sleep mode. Then i have to press the center button to unlock it. Its a security feature that i am not used to yet. Again, i was use to my flip phone. Another really stupid flaw for this phone is the door for the Micro SD card. You can NOT take out the Micro SD card unless you take off the battery cover. Which is VERY hard to take off and put back on, there is no grip for your thumb to stick to , so taking off the battery cover is a tedious task. You have to have a certain technique to do it, but once you get the technique down it will be easier in the future.
