If you are reading this review, most likely, the main question on your mind is

“should I buy a Pre, or should I buy an iPhone 3G”?

“Which one is the best choice?”

Therefore, I will start by saying that,  although the Pre is not necessarily better than the iPhone, it... Read full review »

Introduction

I am not a cell phone junkie. In other words, I'm never the first person with a new phone (too cheap) nor am I a regular reader of cellphonescoops.com to find out when the new phones are coming out (no time). I am, however, a savvy user of cell phones. I've owned a cell phone... Read full review »

So, here I am 2 days shy of a full month's usage of my Palm Pre on Sprint.  If you read my iPhone review, you know how disappointed I was with it (and that was almost a year ago).  I understand a lot has changed, but not enough to warrant my return.  Today, I want to discuss the Palm Pre, my... iPhone v Pre

What is a Pre?

You would have to have been hiding in a cave to not know about iPhone, but how about the Pre?

Pre is Palm's belated response to the iPhone juggernaut. It adds long overdue features like multitasking to iPhone's one progam at a time user... Read full review »

I was looking for an upgrade from my now ancient "V" phone, and was considering Blackberry's Curve, the iPhone, and the Palm Pre. Ultimately I bought a Palm Pre, two days ago. I'm going to address the factors that were important to me, and why I am happy with my decision to get a  Palm Pre... Read full review »

Cons No zoom on camera, No onscreen keyboard, Very few applications

The primary reason I chose the Palm Pre is because it was on the Sprint network which is where my family plan resides.  My wife owns a Blackberry and I own an iTouch so I will compare and contrast the Palm Pre versus 2 of the other main smartphones available, the iPhone and the... There are lots of reviews of the Pre out there (but only one other on Epinions, so far). I will try and concentrate on the key facts rather than detailing ALL the information. To cut to the chase, I highly recommend the Pre. It has some limitations and flaws, but in concept and most of its'... Read full review »

Palm PRE is an excellent smartphone which has been receiving updates from PALM non-stop. There have been 9 updates in as many months. There is a difference of night and day between the features present in 1.4 and the ones when the phone was launched.

UI is the best of any... Read full review »

I gave the Pre a shot about a month ago and it lasted a week with me before I returned it to Sprint.
