Good, Very good range
Pros
Good stock Power 50X4. Good for a subwoofer, great range. Detachable.
Cons
Range is too specific, pain to switch music types. have to change every time.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This deck is a great $150 and under buy, Great power and excellent control. Amazing amping specification and range of Highs, Mids and Lows.
Plays great, looks cool, gotta love the detachable face plate for those of us who have been jacked. Best and worst thing about it, is it's range in amplifying your lows, mids, and highs. Breaks it down so that you can select a certain frequency range/input level for your highs mids and lows as well as amping that specific frequency range for your HIGHS MIDS AND LOWS, amazing! Also, lets you amplifying the Bass and Treble as well as the Sub Woofer level!
Basicly this deck is made for a woofer, zero out your lows (-12db,max) and bass (-6db,max). Making it easier on the speakers, because you can in turn, amp your highs and mids and get little distortion from the speaker. Then turn up the sub woofer ampifier through the deck ( 6db, max) I only use +0 or +2, depends on set up. Then you have a true bass, sounds powerful.
My set-up:
*2 Kenwood 5 1/4 in the front
*2 Kenwood 6 1/2 in the back (Sound Bar)
*This Deck
*1 12" JBL, DVC, with slotted box(BIG, BIGGER BOX IS BETTER!!!)
*1 Kenwood 800W amp, i have this bridged to the woofer, sound hits hard, i only have the amp turned up 1/3 of the way cause it's overpowering
I'm nnot telling you what me vehicle is because i hate thieves. Have my box bolted to the floor, and remember to take the face plate now!
I will tell you that window cost me about $200.
Only bad thing is, no matter how user friendly the navigation through the deck is, it's great by the way with the remote. Anyways, the bad thing is it's a pain to switch between Hip-Hop/Rap and Rock, I'm bumpin Jay-Z and then bumpin Dave Matthews Band?? I have to change the frequency ranges and amping levels every time, I never like the factory presets they have for Rock, Rap, Jazz....
Great Buy for the Price, I paid $145
