Yes
The Bottom Line:
As far as car stereos go, this is in the + area. Dont let the brand fool you. Major car audio competitors are moving to Panasonic.
Looking for superior car audio with a nice price? Here it is. Audio Competitors are going Panasonic, You should to.
This is my second, only because the first was stolen.
I had my first Panasonic 3 years, It skipped maybe 10 times.
I had my AiwaMp3 2 weeks it skipped 60 times. I got my new Panasonic, It hasnt skipped once. When I say it never skips I mean it, Dirt roads, pot holes, chug holes, curbs, speed bumps, turtles, in a sports car, 6 inches from the ground with tight suspension. Not to mention that hard bass causes some stereos to skip. It dosnt skip.. the adverage car.. it might never skip.. EVER, mine, I expect it to skip eventually.. but hasnt yet..
I know someone who competes in car audio, Panasonic actually helps him out with the cd player, because he holds records for his power class at competition. His car stereo never skips.
Panasonic makes great car stereos when it comes to sound skip protection ,quality, design, attractiveness and cost.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice looking stereo with great sound, or someone who has a car which is very rough. Generally its all around a good stereo.
The display is nice, they could have used a little more red,
its mostly blue and white. Has a nice silver face and trim.
The display is Day/Night reactive, Just as bright durring the day as the night. Nice feature. It has contrast/display control, about 6 different graphic modes for the EQ/Beat indicator in the center of the screen, a nice blue glowing trim around the display.
